Steam now have made INR the currency of Indian residents (and also other people of the Indian Peninsula) after a long time. This has so far have an effect on the store only, all games are incredibly cheaper (though market transaction is still the same).

Hope that this will be a new beginning and we can finally pay according to our economic value.

Bad thing is that still only International Credit Cards are accepted and I don't have one. Hope they start accepting debit cards soon.

Visa Debit cards work. Virtual cards generated off Visa debit also work.
