It still uses GfWL, yes. The service remained up, so it was put back on the store.

You mean GFWL still works and we can play online?

Yeah. GFWL never actually got shut down, even though a lot of games transitioned away from it.

And Bulletstorm is a crapload of fun.

Timegate Studios got shut down.
And Steam might have run out of keys, too.

Irrelevant, it's owned by EA. They could keep selling it if they wanted to.

I can't see it. WOuld someone in an other region be able to buy it as a gift and send it to me (I would compensate the price with PayPal or buy something fot the price to send back)? Or is it region locked?

Shouldn't there be a warning on the Store page about GFWL? Or did they figure having a warning about a third party EULA in which GFWL is mentioned is enough?

The Enhanced Steam extension for web browsers puts an alert on the store page for all games that use 3rd party DRM.
Though that doesn't help if you only use Steam itself for viewing the store pages.

There's also this which is apparently a standalone version which shows enhanced steam in any browser you use, including the Steam client.

If you input your Bulletstorm code in Origin it will give you additional copy of it in Origin. I tried it - and now it is part of my Origin library. I used cd-key from my copy which I bought shortly after release (on DVD - not digital one) But I heard that all keys work on Origin (but it is not confirmed - threat it as a rumor until proven otherwise)
