未来心の丘
It is an environmental sculpture that closely resembled Santorini in Italy, it took 12 years to create.
十二天 - Wikipedia
In the direction of 12, sculpture with a motif of 12 ancient God anecdotes related to the direction is placed.
That's such a story, but I can see that it was "just wanted to reproduce Santorini!" It is probably not related to Buddhism, the aspect of art and tourism is probably stronger.

Day 11 Breakfast
Up on top of Kousanji, there's a hill completely encased in marble with a bunch of marble sculptures and such. Why does this exist in the temple? Who knows.
There does exist a nice cafe there, where we got Cremia and lava cake and ginger tea
