ROW wouldn't be an issue. SA would become a problem while activating, if you're leaving the whole SA region. VPN would help in this case, but it's forbidden by ToS.
Also remember that you have a week to activate wins.
However you manage this: bon voyage! :)

You can also ask for more time to activate your wins, I believe, especially if you have a reason like this. You can just leave the received box unset, and as long as you made it clear to the gifter that there will be a delay (so they don't complain to support), you won't get in trouble.
Just don't mark it as "received" until you can actually redeem it. That would cause problems. And make sure the gifter knows what's up or they might send in a complaint that would get you in trouble.
However, it's only likely to be an issue with a few games with very specific region locks, so it's unlikely to come up anyway.

I'm travelling abroad for a couple of weeks,
Well, I wanted to know if it is convenient to opt out of all the giveaways that ends on the period of my travel, and if I'll have any problem activating a key (the'll be ROW or south america locked) out of south america.
Reading a bunch of steam posts and it seems that shouldn't be a problem, but maybe some of you people had a different experience.
Thanks in advance.
