Indeed, always, means, they have some unfinished buisness to take care of in the game, which is good for us.

Unless that's marketing, which probably is in this case.

Hm, what exactly do they earn from delaying their payments for 1-2 weeks?

Something alongside : why do I want to buy a game for my ps3/box and have some difficulties with it if I can download it to my pc for free right now?

yeah lets have an unpolished glitchy release like Maxis gave us, that's what we want.

Because their releases don't have glitches right?

It's not like we have to download a couple of 500mb patches to solve it.

This is normal for ubisoft, as usual, nothing special I saw over 6 project that was delayed for PC version.

Haha, AC games always get delayed for PC. I remember a GameSpy interview with Ubi where they were even asked about it.

I don't see how bad it is.
It's not like the PC version was canceled, or dimnished compared to console ones. A simple pushing back is not much.

I liked the first one, even though it got really repetitive. ACII was fantastic, and AC:B was still pretty good. I've had AC:R and ACIII sitting on my shelf for a while, but I just can't seem to get around to playing them.

They should've just made a trilogy instead of putting 2 minutes worth of storyline in every game.

arrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh >__< so to get the best version, you need to wait extra weeks.......fantastic............ but Ubisoft really loves the "valve time", on games and support........... i'm on loophole with ubisoft support, 3 weeks up to 4 and they keep answering weekly with lame updates when all can be solved with new key wich takes 5min........ >___< #FuckUbisoftFuckUplay

Ok they want to optimize it and it'll take a few weeks, I fail to see the problem.I'm sure they wouldn't mind you paying the same price for a less then expected experience though if you really want it

Just think about how much worse AC3 would've been, if they released it earlier than scheduled.

Seeing how the article sheds no light on why they are pushing the release date, I have to agree with this.

I highly doubt that Ubisoft are deliberately pushing the date, just to piss some spoiled gamers off.

And come on guys. A few weeks? It ain't going to kill ya.

"In other words, it seems that the PC version is based on the next-gen version of Assassin’s Creed IV, which is a good thing." Does anyone actually read that article?

Haven't most Assassin's Creed games been delayed for the PC? At least they take their time in porting the game. If they released it on the same day as on consoles, and it was buggy, everyone would be complaining about how they rushed to finish the game.

Hmm Assasins Creed delay -> maybe they want to implement some new shitty drm? xD

They're just putting the finishing touches on a USB sniper rifle that shoots you in the face if it you try and activate an unrecognised serial key, or you lose your internet connection.

Meh, after the fail with AC 3. I'm no longer as enthusiastic about the future AC games. I can wait a week or so. I'm happy with AC2 series.
