We've been waiting for a long while now. Even small sites like Daily Indie Game or shady sites like Hot Random Keys have this functionality.

What is taking Bundle Stars so long? Do they need to start an Indiegogo to raise money to hire some competent programmers?

Yes, over a year ago, they said they were working on it. It's not that complicated, or at least it doesn't seem that way when many sites with smaller budgets can do it.

I usually write the keys on my own spreadsheet for better keeping.

I'm doing the same and it's much easier to manage compared to jumping between different sites looking for a key. I just hope my hard drive doesn't crash. Maybe I should switch to an on-line version...

I put mine in my Dropbox folder, so I have an online backup of it and can access it from anywhere if needed.

This sounds like a good idea. What happens if you open the file from two different machines at the same time? Can only one be used to make changes?

If you have the folder replicated on more than one computer, whenever you make a change on any of them the updated file will be uploaded back to the cloud and pushed on the other computer. Having the file opened in 2 places might result in the edits from one being lost if you save the other afterwards.

I mostly access it from the web interface or from the Android app when I need to quickly access my keys while not at home.

I keep a spreadsheet, and it's saved in my Dropbox.

Google Docs/OneDrive or a simple file sync program can do it without you worrying about it. On Win8.x/10 OneDrive is integrated into the system, so it may be more convenient to use that, but it's a question of personal preference.

It's a good idea to back up all your data. The question is not is your hard drive going to break, but when.

or go oldschool and print the keylist. Check them off as they're activated.

I did that, until Humble and Indie gala started doing OAuth and then I stopped since word was that some of those generated gift links could be brute attacked, and now that they have stopped it's too late for me to get back on track, my keys are in too much disarray

I used to keep a list of dupe keys by bundle. Now I just add them to my trade list if I don't want/ already have them. I still agree that this would be super useful though. I'm pretty sure some old bundles I bought had greenlight items and it would be nice to have any easier way to check for unredeemed keys. I kind of doubt they could implement it retroactively, but still. The way Humble Bundle and Groupees handles keys is ideal. I'd love to see the same idea on bundlestars and also indiegala. IG is better since they have that steam key producing box thing, but I still have to check each individual purchase if I'm checking on the status of keys.

I don't think that SG community is good place to seek answers for this first world problems. I think that maybe, just maybe, you should ask, hmm I don't know, Bundle Stars support?

The information gathered from the SG community, while possibly not as accurate, is arguably more entertaining than that from an actual Bundle Stars support staff member.

Sure, we all have ways of keeping track of used keys ourselves, but the question is, why does every bundle site on the planet have better functionality than Bundle Stars? That's what I'm really asking. It's also the fact that other sites have a method to gift keys directly to others without revealing them, which is a nice feature. Obviously, no one needs these features, because their absence is a first world problem, but in the first world, under Capitalism, ruthless critique of corporate incompetence is a fun sport. Definitely way more entertaining than the responses from the so-called support which does nothing but give you canned answers to every question. There is no real tech support anymore, so that suggestion is of little use.

I would be more happy if Humble Bundle and other sites told us what account or email claimed each gift link like Indie Gala does. That is such a great feature.

Hey, sorry about the long wait for this one. We've been working on a lot of improvements to the site over the past few months and we will be rolling them out soon. I know it's frustrating waiting for these features, but we hope that it will be worth it when we can offer them.
