not sure if this is allowed here or not, haven't found anything related to 'events' in the faq, so let me know if I have to delete it or something.
anyway, I've just started this year's advent in advance, which is a month-long giveaway event in october with a simple concept: 31 days, 31 games. each giveaway runs for 3 days, ones started on odd days (1, 3, 5...) are for everybody who's lvl1 or above, even days (2, 4, 6...) are only for group members.
I won't link the group in case it's a no-no, just the first giveaway with further details, started earlier today. tomorrow I'll link day 2 to it and link day 2 to day 1, and so on. I think this is what's called a train around here.
ok, so here's day 1, good luck:

Bump. Thanks :)
it's not open to the general public, so if you can't enter, check the day1 giveaway above for instructions.
Thank you very much for the event. I noticed I am blacklisted, although I entered one of your giveaways recently. If it's OK, may I ask why I am blacklisted.?
Sorry if it was something I said or did
might've been a misclick, can't recall blacklisting anybody recently, plus I rarely do it anyway. I removed it now, so you should be able to enter.
Have a bump for the puzzle train!
it's not open to the general public, so if you can't enter, check the previous day above for instructions.
Bump for puzzles!
Thanks for the GAs :)
... but wouldn't it make more sense, if those, that are not for our group, were invite only? I mean, why make a thread/train about GAs, that anyone can see anyway, unless you put it in the Group Recruitment cathegory?
the point of non-group giveaways is that they're available for everybody (lvl1+), so more people will see them. not sure how invite only works, but I assume they don't show up on the main page or anywhere, and can only be access with a direct link.
Yup, they can be seen only by the folks with link. But in such case, IMHO this thread is much more a Group Advertisement, than Puzzle/Event, with Puzzle/Event threads traditionally coming with invite only or SGTools GAs. But I'm often a nitpicking person, so don't take it too seriously ;)
as I said above, I don't know how events work exactly, couldn't find anything in the faq either, but I didn't link the group here. if a mod has a problem with it, they can say so and close or delete it. not sure how it's not a valid event or train though, it's a bunch of free games linked together, except you don't need external software or whatever sgtools is, and it's open to more people.
Thanks for this advent calendar!
Thx for the fun!
