Hihihihi, actually, I spent the whole day today shopping for shoes to get away from anything having to do with the house. But don't you dare tell that to anyone, if anyone found out I'm spending money on non house-related stuff there'd be hell to pay xD
They are just killing my soul with all their "but you could do very nicely without that" or "oh, it's really difficult to do that the way you've imagined" and other excuses for not doing the work they're actually being payed for but, instead, weaseling out and doing it all the easy way. Which is freaking not what I want, approve of or am willing to accept.
I've gotten my uncle to take over most of the dealings with the workers and handling the day-to-day matters while I only jump in when something needs to be bought and delivered.
After all this time all that's been done is: moving one wall, electricity and laying down tiles.
What's left is: removing the old paint, smoothing the walls, painting, laying down the laminate floors over the existing wooden ones, buying all the lighting fixtures and furniture, and buying a fence for the terrace. And all of that is supposed to be finished in 2 weeks... As if...
Ok... I think I'm gonna cry now that I see in black and white all of the work left to be done...
I need more shoes ASAP! O.o
