Some really good music is being played now, announcement will start soon.

My guess is, it'll be free to old players, like really really old players to get all the elder pro players back to the game again.

I played it from 2006 to 2010 and really liked it, but I'm loving Elder Scrolls Online waaay more at the moment,

And frankly i don't think WoW can change their outdated battle system enough to get me interested again,
unless they drop the monthly subscription, then i'd play it just to see what's new and for nostalgia.

You can legally pay with gold for subscription now, on us servers i think it;s around 28k and eu servers around 43k gold.

like blizzard implemented a wow token which ppl can buy and sell for gold on AH which has 30 day sub time.

EVE Online has an identical system, and it just turned that game into a job. "If I don't play for X hours a day I can't pay for my PLEX." In theory I like the idea, but in practice...bleh.

Oh right i forgot, still, that makes it a chore. While i was pretty good at making plenty gold in WoW with the AH, I don't think i'd like to spend my playtime working the AH just to get a new month.

Agreed. Standing in place to spam a skill is just not fun anymore, especially after playing games like Guild Wars 2 & TERA. Even with as much as I love KotOR I can't play it for long because it's more of the same.

"You are not prepared. Again." They'll probably hand-wave that away with WoD's time-travel shennanigans somehow, in a way that's inconsistent with the lore from that expansion.

At least with demon hunters becoming a class, they have an opportunity to make him more of a dark anti-hero good guy again. But instead, they'll probably make him a quest-giver for their starting area, and then forget him until they need to turn him into a boss via entirely predictable plot twist.

Note: Scepticism is fuelled by experiences from past expansions since Burning Crusade.

I hope for a lore-heavy expansion that will appeal to those really old, (kinda) hardcore WoW players who started playing around TBC/WOTLK maybe even vanilla and make them want to come back to grind some quests like in the old times.

The zones shown look lame, Demon Hunters look silly, the whole "experience" they talked about for new DH's sounds like a rehash of the DK "experience" so meh again, yay more Legion killing. Yawn.

Wonder if they will ever learn to count to two. I mean, Capcom finally learned. Guild Wars is on 2. WoW is till the same old outdated crap with new expansions.

I like to play WoW a LOT, the pokemon+ exploring with my friends is an amazing experience for me, however the monthly fee is too expensive, for around 10 euro i get a couple or a dozen of games nowadays. I prefer variety to just playing only 1 game.
