I've recently switched to not commenting on public giveaways unless the creator says something or asks a question in the giveaway description, since I was told that saying "thank you" when entering public giveaways makes people think you're a bot (and, to be honest, I've been sick and lazy this past week). That might explain why you seldom get comments on your giveaways, if others also follow the same advice I was given.
Maybe Kappa's instructions to "write interesting things in the comments" put people on the spot, and failing to think of something interesting they didn't say anything at all? I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. :)

In the Orient, silence may be honored.
In the EU/USA, statements may be respected.

Oh, I agree with you there. I feel like leaving a thank you when winning is the absolute minimum you can do for someone who just gave you a game for free.

Recently, I spent two weeks doing puzzles.
Actually, puzzle! Having said that, 5CARGO from the start point was to be able to get a prize without any puzzles.
(I think there were 22 whole giveaways)
By preparing the SGTools gatekeeper, the number of participants can be reduced to 300.
On the "Discussion" side, there seems to be few people who do something like "BOT".

Saying "write interesting things in the comments" is kind of putting people on the spot. What if you can't think of something interesting to write? What if you fear that what's interesting to you wouldn't be interesting to someone else? What if you now can't write a comment because you're stuck in a well of self doubt that your inability to write something interesting may imply that you're not at all interesting? ;)

Some people use this site for giveaways only, not as a place to socialize.
But really, I had a look at the giveaway text, and I personally wouldn't comment cos most of it is hidden (this makes it shitty to read).
If you really want people to comment on your giveaway(s), keep it simple.

After a while, I was concerned about the proportion of people who are not "BOT".
After recent puzzle GA, you can think from the number of participants and the number of correct people.
So I expected "something unique comment" but I didn't even have "thank you".
