In Dark Souls games dying is part of the gameplay. You encounter a WTF, you die from said WTF a few times learning its moves, and eventually you kick WTF's ass (or whatever it has got instead).

Thats normal, The soul series is a constant learning process, people got good at it, just like some people are fenomenal at Ninja Gaiden. You wouldnt believe how many times i died in Demon Souls, looking back, not even one of the hardest in the series.
Souls II has a good learning curve at the very least

I think help from AI or other Players during boss fights is perfectly fine, might even learn a few things from it.
Abuse rolls, backstabs, check armor, weapon movesets
And farming, while i do hate it and avoid it, it does make any RPG easier.

Dark Souls is a death simulator, basically. The first one had SO many places to accidentally roll off a ledge. Or some well placed archers with giant bows to knock you off a narrow ledge. >_< Anor Londo's Silver Knights anyone?

Dark Souls 2 was toned down to the point that even me, someone that sucks at gaming, was able to beat it a few times.

Playing Dark Souls 3 now and it's almost like playing DS1 all over again.

What class or play style are you trying out?

The one thing, that really helped me in Dark Souls was realizing that instead of moving away, I actually have to stay as close to enemies as possible (most of the time). I am not sure how well this works for you, depends on your character, of course.

Playing as the Sorcerer, so that I could kill enemies from afar. Having only 30 spell arrows and a shitty dagger doesn't help much. Saw some fast Sorcerer builds on youtube. Would try that. Biggest problem with Sorcerer is that I cannot fight with hordes of enemies. Any suggestion and advice would help.

Reroll as a pyromancer. Or start as a melee and get a greatsword.

If you insist on staying as a sorcerer, then work on faith and intelligence as your primary stats.

As for the pyromancer, they get AoE spells. Also remember. Spells stack in DS2 making them stronger.

Also, heres a site that will help you along.

Pyromancer is not a great starter as in DS1. You got your glove quite late (altough in the first part of the game). Best thing for DS2 is to pick up the greatsword and cosplay Gatsu.

Ah I forgot. DS2 did away with the pyromancer starting class. I forgot. Thank you.

"get gud" bet seriously if its the new version then its totally normal cause they made the game a bit harder then the old version so find a good spot and start farming ;)
