(IF IT'S TL;DR TO YOU; GA IS AT THE BOTTOM)

Hey guys,

so I got to know a kind of cute girl and after a short amount of time, she already considered a relationship. Earlier this evening, she requested a selfie from me. No biggie, right? Except I hate taking pictures of myself and told her beforehand, that I hate to do so. So naturally, I told her "No, I won't comply, I don't feel good doing that".

I expected her to be like "Okay, maybe some other time". But instead, she sent me "Ok so this is the last we ever talk again" and deleted me. So ever since I wonder if it's really my fault or if the girl was weird. You know what I am thinking about? If she's so stressed out about something so "little", how would serious arguments end up if we were to be together?

Thanks for anyone who reads my stuff. Here's the GA:

Also, I know this is a gaming forum but I do not know where to turn toright now. I apologize.

Best regards

Yes, you behaved inappropriately.
No, she is weird.

Whatever her reasons you may never know but like your friends said it's more likely you dodged a bullet. We make our own choices and whatever someone else decides is ultimately outside of our control so no sense fretting about what if or what might have been. Take comfort in the thought of, and prepare yourself for, the future opportunities that are to come.

Ok I read it, seems like an "Internet relationship", be cautious with this kind of stuff, clearly she didn't respect your boundaries, so you lost nothing, you saved yourself of a potential toxic relationship

Not enough information to make a decision. Was this an online-only relationship or do you also know her in real life? If it's online only then it's pretty much a requirement to have a photo of someone to find out if you're attracted to them. People who are serious about dating online don't want to waste time with someone who doesn't want to reveal what they look like because that's a classic indicator of someone who's not serious about dating. If you are serious about dating but are just shy or self-conscious about your appearance then that's something you need to get over if you want a date because people need to see who they're having a relationship with.

If it's a real life relationship or she already knows what you look like then yea it is a bit extreme to just cut you off and block you forever because of a photo. But we don't know how old either of you are so maybe she's just young and impulsive. My advice is just move on and don't stress over it but if you're dating online both people need to provide photos (and preferably video) to each other or else it's a waste of time.

Hey bro I feel ya. I’m 28, not much for dating but am kinda scared to enter my 30s alone. Just this past week I had a first date with an amazing woman, we made each other laugh and shared similar interests/views. We agreed to meet up again, today to have dinner and then celebrate St Patrick’s Day having some drinks at an Irish bar. Just recently before the date I found out she thinks “we are at really different points in our life right now”. Totally killed me but I understand and respect her wishes. Best of luck you
