Final Fantasy VII HD updates for Steam?

I'd like to see this as well. As much as I love the nostalgia trip from seeing the old blocky graphics, better visuals without disabling achievements would be much appreciated.

Just use bootleg, then a steam cheevo hacker to put in any achievement you earned manually

I´d really like to see a way to fully mod the game without disabling the Achievements ^^ But yeah, there is a "softer" way of modding where you can only replace models and music AFAIK but keep the features of the new release. Don´t have time to look it up right now, but I know I´ve seen a Community-Guide about this directly on Steam.

For me however the graphics-filters for the prerendered backgrounds is the most important part of modding, and thats only possible with bootleg right now.

If you find it, post it here. I dont want to use the one that disables steam achievements
