Two Point Hospital was exclusive for Steam (edit: and Origin) until now, but I doubt the amazon games version include the DLCs (there are lots of them) so it's more like an extended demo.

it's the same game as the original World War Z, just updated version. So if you have claimed that a few years ago when it was free, there will be no seperate game in your library

I had WWZ (original) installed when I claimed. I would think there should be some file update or name change, but nothing. And starting the game, still says just World War Z - no aftermath. But store page says I own Aftermath...

wwz aftermath is just a DLC expansion which you can play all the content if someone owns it you are teamed up with. This mean you need to have all aftermath installed no matter if you didnt own aftermath to begin with. Its the same way steam works if they add an expansion to the base game they usually dont change the base name of the game or it confuses the hell out of people.

If you have access to the 6th and 7th episode but im not sure if you can do that with out completing the other 5. Other than that with aftermath you have access to the 1st person mode which is a simple thing to check in the options.

Amazon Gaming isn't a "store", it's a simple service where Amazon offer up games for users to claim for free. Some games are linked to actual stores such as GOG, Origin and Epic, but most are simple downloads. I've not seen any game provided direct via Amazon that offers up additional DLC to claim, but many games offered do include DLC as part of the deal (usually in the form of a special edition), it just depends on whether that is what the publisher has agreed to offer. I guess the deal with Sega for Two Point only included the base game.

You can't buy DLC on Amazon Gaming as noted above. Buying on another store would be the only way (if you wanted the DLC). It wasn't a nuanced reply but don't tell me it's nonsense. Wasting more of my time, you already have it on steam so there ya go.

No, you're right.
The original deal between Amazon and EA was from November 2021 to April 2022, one game per month for 6 games total.
November was Dragon Age: Inquisition
December was Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered
January was STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order
Which leaves us with 3 more games from February to April.

On the Amazon page it says "redeemed", if I go to the Epic Store and search the game, it says "in library", but then I go to the library and it's not there.

I think I know the problem, apparently regular World War Z evolved into Aftermath, I think.

It's not a different entry on the library, base WWZ just upgrades to Aftermath edition so you don't have a problem.

Surviving Mars sounds like a GoG or Epic game and Madden is obv. EA. Dunno bout the other two. Not a fan of the these offerings either way. Just about everyone should have surviving mars by now and no interest in Madden. Oh well.

I'm expecting the monthly games to go back to the previous normal. Every now and again a good/decent game but otherwise mostly ignorable. I will get them cuz they're 'free' but that's about it.
They still have a couple EA games to giveaway at least. I see at least one person is happy about Madden but I preferred the Battlefield and Star Wars games they gave us last fall. World War Z was a good one too.
