MLY is surprisingly fun. Got it for the cards; stayed for the game. But it's effectively a text adventure, so judge it on that. Cave Story+... what can I say other that it's CS+, it's fantastic, and a must have for any action platformer fan.

Monster Loves You is shit. It is a terrible game and the developer should feel bad. It takes at most twenty minutes to complete, replay for other options isn't worthwhile at all, no real backdrops or scenes, it's all static. Fucking piece of crap.

It has it's purpose, my daughter is very young yet and loves when we play it. I read it and do choices based on her response and there's nothing that would scar her in any way. I know I could accomplish the same with a choose your own adventure book but she enjoys the fact that there's something to look at.

I'm voting for Monster Loves You. Cave Story+ is a great game, but offers very little that the original, still freeware version doesn't have.
