Y/N?
Full price - no. But if a game I own elsewhere goes into a bundle or gets a nice and heavy discount - yeah, for the sake of comfort of having all games in one place, adding +1 to collection or getting bonus functionalities, like cards, achivs, cloud support etc.

+1. I generally don't but I'm planning on probably getting Fallout 3 next time it goes 2 50, and I have it on disc.

+1
Same here. And I won't bother purchasing it either, I'd much rather get some new games with the money instead.

I own this PC for about 3 months now and I deal with it the same way because I have some games on my 360 that are being given away.

I own most of my games on multiple platforms, CD/DVD, Steam, Origin. All depends on price, but rebuying hardcopies on download platform is a simple choice of price vs. degraded CD/DVD quality. Discs although not as bad as floppy discs, tend to lose their silver layer, which causes data dropping and means the game is useless.
I only have 2 shelves left of hard copies, some because they're not available, some because they're still too expensive, some because I like the box or have them as a collector's ed.

Maybe on sale but it's a waste of money no matter what. You already have the game.

Yes, i did it.
Had it on GOG, bought it again on HB for steam.
Dont know if a part of the profit from the game goes for donation, but i dont want to do it with every game.

I do it the other way around sometimes. I personally prefer to have my games DRM free - which means I love GOG.com
If I really like a game or a series (System Shock 2, Anachronox, Fallout etc) I try to have it on both platforms. Then again, if I really like a game, It is not uncommon for me to own or have owned 3-5 or even more copies of it.

Yes, but only if I have a specific reason for doing so (disc is getting scratched up, workshop, fix for an old game that I have trouble getting to run being included or if I can get the game + expansions/dlc for less than it would cost me to get the expansions from somewhere else).

Only on specials of 75% or above but yeah I own a few games both Retail and Steam. Just don't feel like messing with the discs next time I install, or I was missing the DLC, or it was part of a pack I wanted anyways.
I own Batman - Arkham Assylum 3 times. Standard base game retail, GOTY Retail and Steam GOTY.

Rarely, but I have. For instance, Knights of the Old Republic II, mainly because I want to try the restored content mod someday and that's only available on the PC version.
Usually no, but for special exceptions sometimes.

I didnt care before- and bought many games on origin+uplay because they were cheaper keys. But now when i find sales on steam- i buy the steam version and pretend I don't already own it (where both versions exist which is not very often nowadays)

I own Max Payne (non steam), considering getting it on steam, what do you think?
Edit: My AC collection is uplay only though (same with splinter cell)
