Humble Bundle Partners With Epic Games

Some interesting news out of GDC 2019. Epic is now partnered with HB you can read about it in a brief article here

I'm guessing we will be seeing games for the Epic Store in HB bundles as well as the monthly soon.

Is it intentional to not have one link to the Epic store with all this info about it?

Edit: seems it has since been added.

Metro Exodus becomes Epic Store exclusive, Steam pre-orders will be honoured.

With this shift, they're lowering the price to $49.99 for the US only, the price stays the same for EU.

There's still time to buy the game on Steam, but it will be removed from purchase later today.

this garbage store isn't competition, it's just "monopolizing" all new releases.

Update

Deep Silver, the Publisher of Metro Exodus has halted pre-sales on Steam and has moved the title to the Epic Games Store as a time exclusive. It will be sold to USA for $9.99 cheaper than what the Steam store price is and will still launch on the planned date of February 15th.

seems like only subnautica devs are smart enough to launch in bothes stores at release.

I would think Metro devs got money for timed exclusivity to the store. I would think every dev that is doing that got some money from Epic to do so. So I think it is nothing about brains but about pockets XD

Devs openly stated they get money for exclusivity.
.
One apparently even said deal goes like this:
Epic "how much you think you'll earn on Steam?"
Dev: "10 millions"
Epic: "here's 10 milions, if you go Epic Exclusive".

Is there a list of all regions and prices, something like steamdb? How do I even know if I'm in a region with a non-default price?

You might also want to add this piece of info about the regional pricing: https://wccftech.com/epic-games-store-refunding-differences/
Even though that's not much, I think it's nice to see that they actually do this for everyone without the need of any action on customer's side.

Maybe i think wrong but if Operencia is announced for xbox game pass , and is also a playanywhere title , so by wait an "xpg" at 1$ deal (with new ms account) is possible to play it for cheap.

@galyonkin

We've just added regional pricing support to @EpicGames for a bunch of countries from Africa, Latin America, and other regions. We currently support regional pricing in over 230 countries.

Not all games currently have regional pricing configured for these countries yet, we're still working on it. But most already do.

All I have to say to this topic is: Let's wait a bit and see how developers react in about six to eight months. Then quite a lot of the exclusive games will be released and hopefully we have some numbers (not officially, I guess).

At this point in time, it is still in the dark if anything on Epic Store can and will sell (well) that is not called Fortnite.
It will be interesting to see if in the end it works out for developers/publishers. I have my doubt about that, but I can be proven wrong, of course.

I won't list this in the thread but for those interested in Cyberpunk 2077 you won't have to worry about being an exclusive. CDProjektRed tweeted from the Cyberpunk 2077 twitter account that they would pass on being an exclusive on the Epic Games Store.

Like that was ever on the table with GOG being their own store.
That would be like Half-Life 3 being Epic exclusive.

Isn't that the game they develop on their own? The worst that can happen could be like Division 2. But I'd imagine their strong reputation is not worth risking for by being timed exclusive or whatever.
