Movie:
The Good, The Bad, The Weird - seriously the best western that wasn't made in the West.
Downfall - if you're into World War II you'll dig this.
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog - Joss Whedon, Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, Felicia Day, and superhero/supervillain silliness, you definitely have to give this one a go.
TV:
I'll second the UK version of Being Human. It has a good mix of humour & seriousness.
Tons & tons of 80s cartoons if that's your thing. Voltron, He-Man, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, you name it, it's probably on Netflix.
Hercules & Xena, so much old school cheesy goodness, how can you say no?

Rubber is kinda weird and pretty good! And Breaking Bad was pretty addictive, recommend it if you have the time to watch it all.

I like action, comedy, thriller, whatever like: Prison Break, Breakout Kings, Nikita, Dude Where's My Car?, Harold and Kumar, GI Joe, Psych.
Can you recommend some good shows?
