steam weird download speed? [giveaway inside maybe]

so guys around this week my internet speed goes up to 5mb and stay for 1 second then drop instantly to 0 for about 5 second then it go back rose up again but the speed always the same as before can anyone help me?

What internet provider are you using and where is your location? I use at&t and live in the United States and have a solid 12 mbps with the cable fiber plan i'm using.

i live in indonesia and has a 8 mbps with wi-fi router it used to be stable but now its messed up for some unknown reason

It's only with steam? if its try to reinstall ir or clean the Registclient.blob(no idea if this still works) if it's in general(with Webbrowser and other apps) try to contact your ISP.

then try to reinstall Steam or change your Download Servers Location.
