So, guys, the last (and first) console I owned was an Atari 2600 junior. And I bet most of you have to google that now... :D Been a PC gamer since (with the sprinkled in C64, C128, Amiga500, Amiga1000 and the failed CDTV).
Now I bought myself a Playstation 5 and I ask for your opinion on:
What are the absolutely must have games I have to play on a Playstation that are not - and I repeat - NOT available on any other platform, henceforth that are exclusive to Playstation(s)?
Thank you for your answers!

Depends on the genre, i'd suggest Bloodbourne and God of War :)
Always wanted to try God of War-series and am very much looking forward to it. Shall I play the titles in chronological order?
Bloodborne is in PSPlus, so I'm installing it this very minute :)
if you have the time to play through the whole series, sure! all the god of war games, including the psp ones are great. if you have a busy busy life i say go straight for god of war 2018 (though this was rumored to be coming to pc)
Sadly enough you can't buy all GoW-titles in the PSstore, most of them are on PSNow :-/ Well, I'll find a way. Thank you.
I have started my adventure with ps4 a few months ago and I can recommend to you inFamous Second Son, Until Dawn, Ratchet & Clank, Marvel's Spider-Man, and Uncharted series
Infamous: Second Son, Until Dawn, Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted 4 are all Part of PSPlus, so I'm installing them at the moment :) Thank you!

I have played every single ps exclusive on PC with psnow pc, so I am not sure if there is any absolutely non-pc
PSNow not considered :-P
This is actually not true since PS5 games are not on PSNow.
Yeah, the ps5 ones are not there yet.
Ah, so you bought both. Slightly less wasteful. :p
Ghost of Tsushima
The Last of Us 1+2
Uncharted series (though it seems that this is coming to the PC)
God of War series
Bloodborne is definitely one of the better exclusives. One exclusive people keep forgetting is Street Fighter V, it may not be the best game for you, but for trying it out, especially if you played Street Fighter 2 in past this is really good game to mess up for a little bit
Street Fighter V is exclusive? You're sure? I own it on Steam :)
Well in console exclusive
Gran Turismo 6, but unfortunately that's a PS3 exclusive.
Yeah, sadly no downwards compatibility besides PS4, at least at this very moment :-/
Just to name a few.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Uncharted Collection (since so far it seems Uncharted 4 is only coming to PC)
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
where did you hear of uncharted to pc?
PS announced it themselves: https://youtube.com/watch?v=IfrfJn_-24g&t=0m54s
Thanks for linking that. It is weird that they are releasing 4 but not the collection considering it is somewhat of a wrap of the trilogy. Maybe it'll be a surprise.
Returnal and the Spider-Man games I'm looking forward to :)
Astro's Playroom came pre-installed and I nearly threw my controller in the air when it started squeeeeeeeeing. So cute! :D
Considering the PS5 ones I'm waiting for some good deals.
Astro's playroom is awesome :D
It is :)
Ya Returnal is on sale now I think or was last week but it'll happen again. Don't forget you have the PS+ collection if you are signed up for PS+. There's a good assortment of games there. Not all are exclusive though.
Astro's Playroom was a lot of fun. It really shows a lot of what the controller can do. Pretty cool tech. Enjoy the PS5. I've always enjoyed PS exclusives and look forward to the stuff coming to it in the future. I did notice I forgot to mention Ghosts of Tsushima but others got it so no big deal.
Got 3 monts of PS+ included with the PS5 so am just checking it out. Instantly added all available games within the collection :D Now I have three monts to at least check them out :)
The first impression of the PS5 including the experience with Astro's Playroom, the capabilities of the controller and everything else is miles and heaps above the first impression you get when you turn on the Xbone for the first time. I was - wait for it - impressed XD
Glad to hear you are enjoying it. That controller is the real next-gen product just like DLSS is the real game-changer for Nvidia. Like everyone wants to think 4k or ray tracing is the thing but really it's not.
I agree. The controller is a real next-gen product. I'm playing on my home theater (5.1.2) and in addition to all the surround sound glory, the sounds coming out of the controller add so much more immersion! I would not have believed it if anyone told me beforehand
Demon's Souls and Bloodbourne is must have
Thank you : ) From Software games and me didn't get along too well in the past but it seems that now I finally will be able to sink enough time into them
Playstation exclusives are slowly being released on PC, so while the situation is not as serious as on xbox, i am fairly certain that most exclusives will end up outside of playstation at some point, just gotta have patience and see Sony come out of the closet.
Must play imo:
-Bloodborne (possibly my number 3)
-God of war (number 1 game for me on playstation right now, since release day)
-god of war 3 remaster (it's a ps3 port to ps4 with better quality, you can play the older titles via psnow subscription i believe, which is a streaming games service, so you need a decent connection, alternative is to buy a ps3 and buy the older titles, i think they ported most god of war games to ps3 with collections, it can be hard to find physical copies at decent prices though)
-The last of us 1 + dlc
-Uncharted collection + 4 (lost legacy kinda sucks tbh, but might be worth playing it if you end up enjoying uncharted)
-Persona 5 (any edition except strikers, i have no clue how strikers feels because i skipped that, but the turn based P5 is GREAT, i have the first edition with all dlc included and it's one of my favourite games, i would put it at number 2. You should aim for the royal version, it has extra content and plot and got even better score than the original version that i played. Game as good artstyle, good plot, good music, it nails everything good imo)
-dreams (can get your mind blown)
-Ghost of Tsushima
-knack 1 and 2, kid games but they are quite fun tbh, they also have co-op
-the order 1886, alot of people hated the game for being too short or too cinematic, i played the game like 3 years ago, bought it cheap and it was very worth the money. Good plot, good visuals, a very unique experience and theme. For 60-70 bucks, i would not recommend it, but at 20 bucks or lower, it is worth it.
-knowledge is power, a good game to play with family or friends
-that's you, same deal for family and friends
-demon souls on ps5, i did not play this because i do not have a ps5, but it is on my must play list once i get a console (i'm waiting for a ps5 pro, if not, then i'm waiting for price drops, because the price increase is something i do not support)
Other potential exclusives that are good, but you might not like it:
-spiderman (both games), repetitive games, it feels great for a couple of hours but the experience is almost the same as the game progresses forward;
-the last of us 2, great gameplay, great scenario, great visuals, i bloody hate the plot though;
-horizon zero dawn, good plot but the game felt too repetitive for me and some other people, specially the gameplay;
-days gone, i liked this game in general, i would even put it on must play, but some people consider it repetitive. I did not find it as repetitive as spider man or horizon. Days gone for the most part, suffers from some bugs and lack of interisting visuals for the most part, there are some good looking areas or scenes, but not on a similar scale to other exclusive titles from Sony;
-Infamous games on ps4, they aren't bad, but they also aren't on the same quality scale as most other exclusives;
-Driveclub, game looks amazing, but i hate the driving, it's a bit too arcadey for me, somewhat similar to NFS games, where cars start drifting when you don't want them to during turns;
-GT sport, game also looks amazing, this game is mostly focused in online play, the single player portion is really boring and lacking, the driving feels weird at times but there are some elements to the game that feel great like the wind slowing down your car and making your car shake;
-killzone shadowfall, probably the weakest exclusive, it's still worth giving it a shot, game looks somewhat good and gameplay is nothing too impressive but still good;
-Little big planet 3, played it for a while but i didn't like it that much, still worth checking out as alot of people enjoy the game;
-ratchet and clank, alot of people like this franchise, i did not enjoy it as much as knack, which is somewhat similar. Key difference is that ratchet and clank is more based on gadgets and techy stuff while knack is more straight forward, knack gave me a few laughs during co-op because of some silly animations or gameplay mechanics while in co-op, ratcher is a solo game from what i know
-the last guardian, did not play it, but alot of people say it's good
-medievil, a classic ps1 game remade for ps4, it's a goofy sort of game, but feels good
-Untill dawn, still haven't played these but i do plan on doing so, people speak well of these games
-wipeout omega collection, classic pod racer remade for ps4, if you fancy these kind of games
-shadow of the colossus, played it for a while but got extremelly annoyed with the camera angles and gameplay during one of the fights to the point i rage quitted the game, game looks good for a remake and feels somewhat unique, but do be prepared to see potentially annoying things in the game that can be frustrating, and i'm not the kind of person that gets frustrated that easily in games unless it is mindless grinding
There might be some games not being mentioned, but the majority that is worth mentioning should be there. I skipped VR titles since i never played VR on ps4.
I'd like to play all of the GoW-titles I can get my hands on. In the back of my mind I already thought about getting the older consoles in the future but if possible I try to avoid that. Have no space to put them :D
Bloodborne, God of War, The last of us Remastered, Uncharted 4, Persona 5, Days Gone, Infamous Second Son, Ratchet and Clank, The Last Guardian, Untill Dawn are all part of the PSCollection so I installed all of them yesterday and will check them out soon :)
I've actually bought a ps3 again like 2 years ago or so, to buy games from that gen and replay some too. But yeah, space is an issue, i have no room for more consoles right now, i'm not selling any of the consoles i have but i do plan on buying the new stuff at some point, just waiting and playing what i have already.
I forgot to mention final fantasy 7 remake, great game too!
got a ps5 a few months ago, mostly playing the games that came with the ps5 (like ratchet and clank, horizon zero dawn) as this will already take up some time i did not started checking alot of other games, but ghost of tsunami is on my wishlist :)
did bought myself everybody's golf wich is a nice game to play (both solo as online with friends or coop with a second player at home)
I did not picture you and a golf game before you just said that :D
i am pretty alround ;)
but i must say i love the 'arcade' golf games, loved it at the nintendo Wii as well :)
games rumored or confirmed to come to pc that are definitely worth playing but dont fit the "exclusive" banner- god of war 2018, demon's souls, days gone
as far as i know these are exclusive:
spiderman and spiderman miles morales are both great
ghost of Tsushima
the last of us part 1 and especially part 2
shadow of the colossus
tearaway if you are into platformers
infamous first light (though it will be more meaningful after youve beaten infamous second son)
dead nation (from housemarque, twinstick zombie shooter that can be played co-op with geralt of rivia voicing the main character)
Thank you very much :)
Here, games i could get if (probably never tbh) i get a ps5.
Demon's souls Remake
God of War (2018)
God of War Ragnarok
The Last of Us Remaster
The Last of Us Part II
Shadow of the Colossus Remake
The Last Guardian
And thank you! :)
So...did you change from PC to XBSX and now to PS5 just to play a few Exclusives?
Y'all tripping :D
I didn't change a thing. I am playing on all three platforms and did not buy the consoles for exclusive titles.
I'm not a console player so I really can't contribute to the list. However, my s/o is and from what I can tell from his library that I know for sure isn't on PC would be the God of War series.
As far as claiming to be old, I'm assuming your Commies and Amigas weren't without a modem. What was your first modem's baud rate?
Thank you for your input :)
Yes, they were without a modem ^^ First time I was online from home was in 1999, I think, via ISDN. But in the years before that we used the old analogue modems that totally blocked your phone line in the youth center I worked on a voluntary basis.
I guess they were V.34 modems, thus something between 28.8k - 33.6k
Hahaha... So you're not old. Or at least as old as you claim. Unless, maybe, you watch this and you change your mind. 😉
Well, I have lived quite a lot of years past the halftime of the normal life expectancy of a male human, so I call myself old ;)
Never! Let's just call it worldly and experienced. 😁
We can agree on that :D
I'm missing a "Completely new to console gaming: Switch" from you.
Haha! True. Only one franchise I miss from my console days and that's Zelda. lol
Nah, I hate handhelds. Won't buy one of those
You can keep it plugged to a TV.
I still don't want them ;)
it's a joke really you want exclusives then hate the console which gives you by far the most of them
Am new to console gaming too. bought Xbox X on rls, i played on it like 3/4h since ever (and have prepaid 2 year pass). Didnt started it for 6 months. I love consoles :D
Just finished the last of us (first one) and loved it. Great if you like a good story.
