Okay I was wondering if you could make a foil badge after you already have a level 5 badge. I know the make badge level is 5 and all but if I bought a full foil set for a level 5 badge would that just be a waste or would I be able to upgrade the regular badge for a foiled level 5 badge?

The Foil badges are seperate from the normal badges.

Yes, you can make a foil badge even after getting to level 5.
