Yes but it's unclear and unusual regarding steam sales because there were always new deals on the last day during all previous slaes.

That's never been the meaning of it in Canada. When we read it, it's this date *to that date, not including it. Also, I'm pretty sure that every Steam sale has ended the same way, except the one that decided to add 2 extra days of best sellers after the main sale ended.

I looked up some Canadian music festival dates and strongly suspect that the last day of those festivals listed isn't the day that everyone packs up and leaves but is instead the last full day of music.

You could tell that there was not going to be an encore by looking at the timer on the page of any game that was on sale (but not featured). Also the fact that yesterday's daily deals had only 24-hour timers instead of the usual 48.

Winter sale is around the corner anyways. Watch prices on the games I just bought get lowered a lot next sale. It's not like I'm going to play them now anyways. I probably should have just waited for the winter sale.
