it's like your good old gameboy tetris...but not quite the same. :D

I used to enjoy "Tetris Party" as it had multiple game modes. But lets face it, emulating a Wii system for it would be total overkill.

By now, I believe the people here have posted better, more viable alternatives already.

Slam Bolt Scrappers was mildly tetris-y and a lot! of fun multiplayer.

Im suprised nobody has mention this which is kinda tetris inspired, also its a great/addictive game ;p

It's A LOT like Tetris Battle. I was in the same situation as you and I ended up going with Cultris.

there is an arcade puzzler called Chime on Steam for $4.99, it's inspired and based loosely around Tetris, might be worth a look if nothing else

I like tetris a lot, lately(this year) i haven't played so much but i can say that that the best tetris you can find on pc is NullPomino. Has everything a tetris game must have and you can't set up the game as you want(to make the game feel like the version you like).
This is an introduction and setup guide, if you need it.

Edit: similar to tetris battle(that i don't know well since i don't have fb) there is tetris friends, it's however web based and also has some bad things but if you want to play against someone can be good.
As cultris(since i saw it in the topic) I don't know but doesn't feel so much as a real tetris (or maybe I was playing the wrong version or mode...).
