I'm thinking of getting some of the new indie titles, and Transistor and Story About my Uncle seems really good. I wonder what you guys think? I liked Bastion from Supergiant Games and I also like the games from Coffee Stain (even you Goat Simulator).

So should I buy them, or they're just overrated.

It's good. You should definitely buy it if you don't have something to play. But if you have a huuuuuuugggggeeee backlog like me. You can just wait for bundle or 75% on those.

I'm a bit disappointed with the gameplay length on transistor. I expected more.

6 / 7 hours for a first run is still decent, though maybe a tad low.

Transistor, like Bastion, is a must. Definitely get that at the very least. I can't say anything about A Story About My Uncle.

Transistor is a must have. If you can wait, get the game now, then the OST on a -75% promo later.

Yes Transistor must be a good game, I liked Bastion, but it needs some sale or bundle :D

For the content inside transistor. The price tag is perfect. It doesn't need anything.

I will get it when it goes on big sale :D I don't buy games for full price.

My instinct tells me that Story about Uncle gets boring fast.

Edit: checked steam reviews, said the game is about 2 hour long. :-/

I checked the system requirements for Transistor it asks for a 2.6ghz dual core CPU, I only have an intel i3 3110m 2.4Ghz so I'm not sure if I can run it? I could run Bastion 200% perfectly.

Currently playing Story bout my uncle, loving it so far. A parkour in sky, you might call it. Mechanics and gameplay is awesome, story is a bit kiddish, lots of eastereggs, game is done with love. Sadly enough, it' s damn too short, so im trying my best to extend the pleasure and play one level per evening. There are several game modes to unlock after the first playthrough, including speedruns. Here' a nice review for it http://www.continue-play.com/review/a-story-about-my-uncle-review/. If you have a long backlog, you can wait for sale, if you have nothing to play atm, go for it.

I've heard good reviews of Transistor as well.

I definitely recommend Transistor, you can definitely notice style similarities between it and Bastion, so if you like one you should like the other.
