It's probably nostalgia.

Of all the games based on F-Zero, I don't think any of them truly capture the essence of the original. Star Racer feels more like a party game than a racing game. Its track-building mode looks pretty good, although seeing the low player count, I don't know if there's a community creating new maps.

Aero GPX (not included in this bundle) seems like the most likely successor to it. I've wanted to buy it, but it's only been 15% off, it's still in early access, and they don't share much information about updates.

I always buy bundles of games with trading cards or that interest me, but in racing bundles, I always struggle to find one that stands out from the others.

I bought:
Star Racer (for nostalgia)
Hot Lap Racing (because it will probably be removed in future F1 games)
Sunrise GP (for its visuals)
Aqua Moto & Snow Moto Double Pack (2 for 1)

What are your criteria for buying racing games?

I think star racer gives that f zero vibe, but haven't tried it yet.

With aqua/mote and go kart, i went retro.
