So the trailer for the new Ghostbusters movie has been released. And instant;y, it looks FAR superior to that 2016 movie that we would ALL be better off not talking about.

Looks as if this one is following the child of Egon (RIP Harold Raimis) discovering his father's past. Maybe a next generation of Ghostbusters. If this is how it's looking then I can see myself actually agreeing.

Thankfully they seem to not acknowledge that 2016 as having existed at all. Like Superman 2 & 3.

I'm seeing this one. Anyone else?

Looks pretty bad. Why is there such a serious tone to it? I guess they just wanted to piggyback off of Stranger Things?

A teenage hero and a teaser that seems damn too serious for a Ghostbusters movie. These are bad omens.

All with kids/teens as stars are my personal antichrist signs since a few years....
Too much of that stuff in new series and movies.
I am way above there target groups age :-D

And after that 2016 feminism desaster "movie" i have no hope too.

Sort of on the fence. First one was awful. But I usually like terrible movies so I can point and laugh at how bad they are. But the first one wasn't even interesting enough to point and laugh at (except for the gun licking. Was so cliche I had to cackle at it). Then again, maybe this one will be at least laughably bad, or maybe it'll actually be good.

I guess maybe I'll see it? I'm hoping it'll be interesting, good, or at least worth laughing at.

Definitely looking forward to it. Careful about criticizing the 2016 film, lest you be branded as a misogynist or some such.

hmmm. i was hyped when i heard there would be a sequal.
Not sure if it will be good, the trailers not what i expected.
thrown in a recent movie star and recent show star, then imply its kid focused - makes me worry about how 'true' to the originals it really is.

anything looks better compared to the last gb movie. 😅

pity they are going with the latest trend of "kids save the world". kinda tired of this particular hollywood cliche.
