Where are all of the 007 Legends and Grid Autosport Giveaways Coming From?

007 Legends is removed from Steam, but there are a ton of RU-CIS copies being given away in the last month. Is some store selling a secret old stash of keys or something?

Similarly, there have been a lot of Grid Autosport giveaways the last couple of weeks

as you mentioned Grid Autosport and we have another topic about it - can you check with your support powers why it's gone from GA list? Is it a bug or did it got removed?

I believe it is a Steam bug. It was removed from sale on Steam for a couple of hours I believe - probably will take another day or two to sync back to the giveaway list.

There is a site called kinguin or something like that. They let other people sell keys by their site, as they are only a man in the middle (as far as I know). From a few weeks, GRID Autosport is there with lowest price on a equivalent of something like 3 or 4 euros, or even cheaper. Some say this site is a scam, so have bought keys from them and they worked. I didn't risk and I won't but from what i have heard, most of this keys are actually from russia shops or something.

Right know there is even a sale where GRID costs less that 3 euros. I think that explains quantity of keys.

GRID Autosport was also part of the Intel Gaming Bundle which was a promotional item given with the purchase of certain Intel CPUs.

Ah, probably some people got huge stashes of codes. Wouldn't be surprised if stores were handing these out for free.

Thanks for the information. My purchase was too early I'm assuming. I found this thread as I've been seeing a ton of giveaways for this game and didn't notice any bundle/major sale. :)

Grey market sites are unreliable. Some keys work, some keys don't.

Yeah I know. On the other side I can understand the people who take the risk, but when you see on shop site info that says you will have to use VPN to activate the game... That's little too shady for me.

Well, a simple search brings up several offers for CIS-region Steam keys in the range of 64-89 rubles (1-1.5 USD). Apparently, this has been widely used to boost CV lately.
Based on the offer descriptions I would assume those are CD keys from boxed copies of the game which are sold separately. A rather shady deal. ^^'

I wonder where they got this keys from. I mean at start, not people who creates giveaways but first sellers. I have heard that prices in that region are lower that in others but come on, they can't that low. Right?....

Did a little more research on that. Some people claim that actual jewel box copies of the game (EAN13: 5030917121371 CD-key included) are currently sold dirt cheap (< 30 ₽) in a large retail network. Could be those as well.
