If you won won something on steamgifts.com do you really have to activate it for your account? Or is it just not allowed to regift it here on steamgifts?

dont join giveaways you dont even want to activate!

i really hate your attitude , someone gave you something free, and you want to get profit ? how about trying to get a job instead? you should be happy that you actually won something, and it seems that ANY other person would be a way better winner than you.

mate you won a ~ 4000 entry giveaway 4 hours ago and you already posted it as giveaway? REPORTED

You have to activate the game in your account

You have to activate it on your account. Sure, you can give it away somewhere else, but it is a good way to get banned.

All games you win here have to be activated on your account. And specifically, the account you win the game on. If you're one of those people who has multiple accounts, you have to activate it on the account that wins, not trade it to your main account and activate it on there.

As far as i know, if anybody tries not to use a won gift for himself he's passbale of ban. I might be wrong.

By the way I don't completely agree on this; of course if you're going to regift something you could be better off not participating in the first place (personally I find it stupid to participate in giveaways for games I don't want, even if I have points left to spend), but one might still want to trade the game or gift it to an acquaintance, and I don't see anything wrong with that, seeing as the result is basically the same.

People do try to get away with regifting their wins, but eventually some nosy person will find out, and then the hammer falls... :) If you didn't want a game, why try to win it? Leave the ones you don't want for someone else... :)

Also, you may want to check the FAQ for all sorts of interesting information... :)
