Do the ice cream icons make it more appetizing?
can people please stop buying this shit so they stop selling them and make real bundles....

I was to curious about bug milk. I was like, "I didn't even know bugs had udders." Boy was I wrong as I went down the rabbit hole on this.
Basically, it's black soldier larva (I think other larva can work as well). Mashed and churned up with water and "other things". To make a rich and creamy dairy alternative. That is being used to make ice cream.
I watch a short little video about it. At the end, one of the creators shared the ice cream in a blind taste test with a bunch of teens. After they ate it. They said, "Can you believe that it was made from bugs?" OMG! The look on their faces. They cut away as one was spitting it back onto their spoon. It was amazing! Best marketing campaign ever. ;P
So thank you for this. ;P

@Lilly. No prices are listed.
So... costs more per 10 keys that you can't choose than their Build Your Own Summer Bundle where you have total control over buying (and spend less), while only dangling some unknown AAA games as prize for 10 people, who can then share their tale and stoke the greed in other gambling addicts?
That sure sounds like a good deal.
On the other hand, checking out myriad of ice cream flavors cheaply without commiting to full portions sounds like a pretty good idea from consumer's perspective. Allows you to quickly zero in on your preferred tastes. :o

I got Manual Samuel - did not even know that was in the bundle!

The chart is created with feedback from those that bought it. If nobody pulled a key for a game before in specific gambling bundle, there's no way to even suspect it might be in there.
But to be honest, these usually seem to be a way to get rid of unsold keys from other Fanatical's bundles, so you can at least expect those types of games.

Ah, that explains it. I thought the chart was created with some kind of master data, not populated by replies to the thread. Thank you for clarifying!

I love surprises. They make life fun and unexpected. And much like in a box of chocolates, you don't know what you're going to get.
When I was a kid, there was a machine in the supermarket near the exit that had colorful bubble shaped boxes inside. You put a quarter in there and got a little bubble with a surprise in it. Sometimes you got a little plane. Sometimes you had a cool robot. Sometimes a compass. Or a tiny figurine.
You never knew what you were going to get but you always ended up with something fun.
It was magical.
If Fanatical had owned it, it would have been full of little bubbles filled with dogshit. Nobody wants those. Why would you pay for dogshit?

Aww come on now, there are some good titles in there. Buying a few mystery keys could be worth it for someone who doesn't have that many games and is new to bundles. :p
... I just don't get why SteamGifters keep buying those tho. The probability they get something they don't already have and actually want to play must be pretty slim.
Comment has been collapsed.
You know, I tried it once. I shouldn't be saying this because some are going to think it disprove my point
I guess I was buying a bundle and they had a mystery one running so they hooked into my checkout process to say "hey you wanna try this? It's shiny!" and it was new (it was the Martian mystery bundle in 2018 so I think it was the first) so I thought "heh what the hell"...
... and I got Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 which not only was unbundled but on my wishlist.
So hm yeah I guess it does happen but mostly it doesn't though and I am very sure the fact it was the first one and the first I bought had a lot to do with the quality of what was in there.
Of course, I tried another one right away and got... Omerta City of Gangsters, TASTEE Lethal Tactics and some hidden object game that had been in a dollar bundle, felt very foolish and promised myself I'd never do it again.
But you're also right, mathematically speaking (IF Fanatical is giving away anything worth it at all and not just using that to get rid of the games nobody even buys in bundles anymore), the probability of getting something you don't already have is much lower when you have been buying/trading/winning games on SG. Not even talking about the probability of getting something you would actually play.

I'd actually love to go to an ice cream shop and receive a mix of random flavours. But these mystery bundles suck.

I get them out of slight addiction. I love mystery bundles for not knowing what you get. Like buying pokemon cards or gatchapon from my favorite MMO. I look at it this way. I don't get that many and I will either get games I can keep, trade or give-a-away. So nothing is wasted and all is fun. Sure, not filled with the best stuff around, but it's just for fun. :D
Bundle 1
Yoku's Island Express - Pretty enjoyable game.
Peaky Blinders: Mastermind - Meh!
Alien Breed 3: Decent - Oh boy! Another! ;P
Velocity Ultra - I think this has been in every mystery bundle.
They Bleed Pixels - Cute Fun! :3
Tomb Raider VI: The Angel of Darkness - Classic
Windscape - Meh!
Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Enhanced Plus Edition - Welp, that's the big title I got and a really fun game.
Super Treasure Arena - This game might be Delisted soon and has card. So kept it. Something about Dev disappointment in sales and servers down. Not sure. ;P
Lucky and a life worth living - Aww, something for the kids. If I had kids. I don't so, it's trash. ;P
Bundle 2
Race.a.bit - Ya, not sure about this one.
Slain: Back from Hell - Looks decent if it's your type of game. Music sounds great.
Trapped Dead: Lockdown - Meh! I like my zombie games but this one looks bad.
Matraquinha PAIR - Cute game for the kids.
Pathfinders: Mini Words - Kids Game with misleading gamer title.
Tomb Raider: Underworld - Pass but still, Lara. ;P
My Little Prince - Another kids puzzle game.
The Answer Is 42 - If you like math puzzles.
Rebel Galaxy - Enjoyable but it's everywhere.
Pathfinders: Memories - Yet anther kids game with misleading gamer title.
So, bundle 1 was pretty ok. Bundle 2 on the other hand was bad. :D

Pathfinder: Kingmaker looks a lot like Pillars of Eternity (which I liked a lot). Not sure about the rest but not bad. That second bundle is very underwhelming though, like they knew you got Pathfinder in the first then decided to troll you a couple of times with those two kiddie games.

I had some incentive to get a small discount so thought I'd try:
Silver Chains - was looking at the Quad Pack for this so happy with that.
Narcos: Rise of the Cartels - doesn't look too great but will try it anyway as it was on my watchlist.
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair - got this on Epic as a freebie but don't really use that so definitely playing this on Steam.
Thief: Deadly Shadows - an old PC favourite of mine but never got to finish the CD-ROM version so maybe a chance to do it again with more ease.
Unbox: Newbie's Adventure - dupe. Alright platformer but nothing special.
FAR: Lone Sails - very glad this popped up, need to beat this and move onto the sequel asap.
Magic Lessons in Wand Valley - a jigsaw puzzle tale - I like jigsaw puzzles but mainly in the physical form...
Bridge Constructor - played the other variations on mobile but nice to have the original I guess.
Dark Devotion - Steam saying it's like Hollow Knight but it's probably not anywhere near close in terms of quality. Worth a shot though.
Race.a.bit - seen this bundled so many times but somehow dodged it. Not sure I'll play this unless I get desperate.
Overall, it wasn't too bad for £5.49 (paid through cashback which should pay out). Usually I tend to avoid these blind purchases like the plague, was just curious to see what I can get and the small discount pushed me to go ahead. Pretty happy with 5 of the games (managed to also dodge the recycled games I picked from Triple Pack earlier this month) but I think I'll stick to the picks and Choice going forward...

Is it just me or is this a little more pricey than mystery bundles usually are? Maybe not, maybe this is the average, but seeing that 10 games for 7 bucks just seems a little bit higher than normal.
Maybe I'm just seeing things because everywhere you turn, things are going up in price, or down in size, so it's possible I'm seeing phantom price increases. Haha. Wouldn't that be something.
