Sure, just search the Skyrim wiki for the quest stages and skip this stage of the quest.

Just skip the stage. You said, you already did it. -_-
It's a Bethesda game. These are great, but there are bugs. That's why they give you a console. Oh, and don't forget to save before and after you did the console command. Not sure about Skyrim achievements, but at least in FO:NV achievements get blocked if you use the console. You have to reload afterwards.

You did the previous stage, right? "After I ...". Use the command to complete this stage. Use the command to get the new quest/quest stage. The only thing that you will miss is: "Hey I have a quest for you"-dialoge.
