Hello!

Today I wanted to play this game that I got from gift key, I'm strating Steam... and? I don't see in my installed games... So ok, maybe it's a bug, so I went to folder with steamapps, there was Chivalry folder, I launched the game, searched servers but couldn't connect to any (old client I think).

So I deleted this folder. And what now? In my profile I don't see this freakin game! But I activated gift on Steam..

So what's the problem? I don't understand. I was hacked?

How did you get the game? Normal Store purchase? Trading?

Are you using the Steam Beta Client? If so, try uninstalling it and reinstalling it?

Look in steam store if its stated as "You already own Chivalry: Medieval Warfare"
then you must have it. Otherwise ask support whats wrong.

Well looking at your games in your Steam profile Chivalry doesn't show up. Most likely the gift got revoked like xSkeletor said.

If you got it from gift of another game it is guess pass so it has limited time to play.

Another reason never to trade with anyone other than close friends you know in person.

Scam, scam, scam, scam, scam, scam, scam, scam, lovely scam, wonderful scam...

I'm not saying you're scamming anyone here, calm down. It's just the massive amount of risks, immediate and future seem to far outweigh the positives.

I went to Chivalry's forum and Steam Support, both of them said "go see your key provider".So go ask for another key from your provider.I can't ask mine because I've no idea who gave me that key, I got 25 rep and one of them gave me Chivalry :(

And this is why trading keys isn't encouraged by Steam.

Appears to be this giveaway. Also that user has a dodgy giveaway history and is NOT banned.

You still have not told us anything about how you got the key. Where you got it from, or who, or how you payed for it. This has nothing to do with the Chivalry devs, and most likely nothing with Steam / Valve, either.

I got mine from one of the dudes I've traded with. They all got perfect reps&profiles none of them is a scammer.I went to Chivalry's forum because Steam Support said "publisher deleted some cd-keys".I should've noted my trades. Now I can't find who gave me that Chivalry :(

The retarded part is, they deleted that key months after I got it.

Did you ever bother checking out why the dev disabled some keys? Maybe a bunch were stolen from some place, and the key you bought was one of those stolen keys. Maybe the guy you bought it from didn't know it was.

Also, I wasn't replying to you..

Its not nice but the game is often on sale for cheap price.
Not a big loss.
So if you realy want to have it maybe wait till summersale.
I have it but dont play often.

It is so sad, that Steam revokes keys without huge proof ... Makes me really sad, how easy is the life of the scammers ... :/

steam have interest in revoking retail keys easily thus making retail keys look unreliable compared to steam store gifts.

Next time dont buy cheap keys from unknown resellers, if you had a gift from unknown guy it works the same way - basically he could use stolen credit card to buy it, or bought it with legit credit card and called bank to revoke the payment = he get's money back and still have the game, what is Steam supposed to do if not remove it? Derp.
