Grass Cutter Skill Challenge:

Only 0.1% of people were able to complete the game

Will you be able to complete the little game during a free weekend?

my review for it (dev is bigga frienda o' mina):

beautifully crafted lawn mower experience, chilling and addictive.

put this on top of your backlog list.

only played for a few minutes, but it's strangely satisfying, congrats to dev.

recalling this, so thought to share it as it might be useful:

i've found Grass Cutter at DIG, ages ago. and that was the only place (or one of the very very few places) where to find a key for it.

very true that. and it's its only downer, imo.
still, dev's choices can be tricky, and after ranting with Hidden Folks dev, i've learnt to think about dlc's in a totally different point of view.

Hi Lugum!
DLC's in the game is created for two kinds of people:
1) People who want favorite lawn mowers right from the start
2) People who liked the game and they want to support the developer (Most often)

You can complete the game without DLC.

Have a nice day Friend!

But there are completionists that want to get their games as complete as possible, and some games have a $1-2 donation DLC, all fair but all DLC together added up on sale for this game is $8, and that's not just a small donation.
You could have also just made 1-2 DLC with several lawnmowers.

Have a nice day.

The game has several sets of lawn mowers. Everyone chooses and buys sets of lawn mowers that he likes.
The game does not impose a purchases.
Most of the lawn mowers a player can get for free while playing.

Nice game! but when it becomes harder I quit. I prefer easy games. I'm too old, less time and patience to play xD

Haha, this made me think of "Lawn Mower", an old DOS game that I played when I was a little kid. Thanks for sharing it!

Huh, first time I see such an indie game having a free weekend. I always assumed some high profile indies and AAA games were able to run a free weekend

The rate of the highest achievements are low and the top one is only at like 10% so that suggests to me that not enough players were engaged in the game to the point where they would try to finish it, so as a result the 0.1% rate for completion of the game seems like a misleading stat. Still I suppose such a challenge could be an interesting way to promote the game.
