So, i've received some random friend requests on facebook. I've accepted most of them and usually they are friendly people. Have not met anyone unfriendly yet. Do you have any experience with strangers on facebook (or some other site)?

No facebook, no problem xD

Steam though? Normally 1-2 every week, but then over the Winter Sale I had like 10-15 come in a few days. Did happen to coincide with when i bought a bunch of keys - so that must be it. I might accept one or two every so often, just so I can assure myself that its scammers and not genuine people, give them some hope i'll fall for their attempts and then cut them off :D.

Not really a lot of these for me..
Some time ago I see a friend request from girl. From UK.
I mean - yeah whatever, and accepted it. Had a feeling but just went with it.. An hour later comes a message "hey, how you doing"
Alright, got to check out the profile..... no pictures before yesterday, location changed from India to UK yesterday. Before yesterday EVERY post is some Indian sites and games.. I mean how stupid of a scammer youve got to be. At least put some work into fake accounts. The moron used his own or long lasting profile with history on it... I didnt answer and several hours later all pictures deleted, name deleted.. I think it also deleted the profile out of my friends list.
Hate scammers beyond anything.

There is a facebook group in my country for selling cars. So, randomly, shows up 1 day old profile, no pictures, made up name. Through google translate translated text into our language (translated like shit of course, so you know its fake after the first sentence) . The post is about giving out loans UP TO 50 mil eur. Like what the fuck - how stupid you have to be to think someone will fall for that.
Whats the kick out of this for me ? This piece of trash asks to contact him/her through email. I do simple google search of this email - pops out a fucking youtube account of some black women from africa with videos where she just flips off camera all the time.. That has to be one of the moronic scams I have seen, using your own email.

Yup, I used to always accept as it improves privacy by making it harder for FB to know who my real friends are. Met a few people (or bots) who didn't even post in a language I was able to understand, fun times ^^
But I deactivated my account a while ago, so obviously I'm not getting those anymore.
