Is there an anime where I murder everyone and then finish the day with a nice glass of whiskey in a tiger-skin robe?

My Hero Acedemia, nearly everyone has super powers, so even if I'm not a main character, chances are I would too. So I'd be fine with just being some random person, hopefully with a better super power than Mineta at least. lol

Within Japan, anime (that's the plural form as well, by the way) refers to all animation regardless of origin. Internationally, however, the term is used specifically to refer to Japanese animation. So unless you or TinyPurple are in Japan at the moment, or were born and raised in Japan, I'm pretty sure you've no reason to call The Simpsons anime. :)
Given the distinct style and approach of Japanese animation, it makes pretty strong sense to use a distinct term to refer to it as separate from other forms of animation, especially given how many individuals in the world specifically like or dislike anime as it differs from more typical Western animation forms.
The real questionable element comes in with shows like Avatar: The Last Airbender, which is done in Japanese animation styles, based within various Asian mythologies and concepts, accented with Native American influences, and presented by way of American sensibilities. While that specific example is easy to write off as being unique, it does bring up the question of if Anime should refer to animations which come out of Japan (which really offers no value outside of passing economic curiosity, and thus makes the separation of terminology rather less useful- but is currently the more commonly accepted point of distinction), or if it should refer to shows done in Japanese animation styles or to Japanese story-telling sensibilities.
Of course, that's not a consideration with The Simpsons either way- so, it's simple enough to agree that, for clarity's sake, the show shouldn't be referred to as Anime in any situation where that attribution would provide confusion as to what is being discussed. Rather than worry about the various nuances at play, I think that makes for a more straightforward method of approaching the matter. :)

Hitomi-sensei no Hokenshitsu. It's such a diverse and interesting world, and at the same time it's peaceful (don't really want to live in a world where people/monsters/etc. are fighting all the time).
...I miss that manga, wish they would make more.

Well, to be honest, one of my dreams is to become a Saiyajin, so I would say Dragon Ball. I don't even need to be in the same universe as Goku. Just give me the ability to express my rage through screams and flashiness so I look cool.

I've actually seen that one. Pretty good, but it did not leave a deep impression on me, and I remember thinking it should have been a bit shorter (the anime that is, I've not read the manga). Not sure what I would think of it now, I think I watched it about 10-12 years ago.
Setting was a bit interesting at least.

Eureka Seven?
There is no sapceships, but they have big ass "planes".
First episodes (even 10 or more, but for me almost all episodes were great) might be boring, but anime is worth watching. This is the only one anime, I rewatched (I have seen 400+ series) and I made it about 5 times.
Sorry for my English, I'm still learning. >.<

I'd say Cowboy Bebop, but that world isn't that pleasant...

But because you're not the main character or a supporting character, you'll die a virgin.

It's that time again.
So, in this topic we discuss if you can put yourself into an anime.
Now the rules are that you can't be the main character or replace any of the main characters. You can, however, be added as a secondary to the main characters. And you MUST retain your real name but you don't post it here. So secondary/support characters and below only. And you can only choose ONE title for this.
That being said, I admit that I'd want to be put into Attack on Titan as a regular soldier that gets to use that grapple gear and blades. Those look like a ton of fun, aside from needing it to escape or kill titans.
So, what anime would you want to be put in? And remember, one title only.
