Just a quick question. I own the Serious Sam Complete Pack but Serious Sam Gold shows up as not owned in my account. Is there anything in there that I would be missing? I don't have the Serious 8 DLC for Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter but I don't think that's included here anyway. Just thought it was worth asking. Thank you. :)

What do you mean, on your account. Gold is a Steam bundle, it can only show up as owned in the store only, not in the client or the purchase history.

You're correct. I mean each individual game reflects being in my account, but Gold does not. I'm not sure if I'm missing any content from it or if it doesn't show as in my Library due to not purchasing that exact package.

You own the contents of the bundle, but not the bundle itself.

That's what I was thinking. Thank you! :)

I looked up, and in this case the problem is that the Gold Edition is actually this page:
http://store.steampowered.com/sub/6222/
http://store.steampowered.com/sub/6219/ (If you live in the US.)
But it was given its own store page instead of this bundle page, and that store page has not a subID (bundle), but an appID (separate product). This is why you don't get a hit, because that search assumes you have this appID, which you don't. The only way to acquire it would be buying it from that page you linked, but you will be unable to do so, because you own every element of it already.

Interesting. I even had it in my cart and it doesn't say anything about owning even part of the package. Thank you for all of your help! :)

Yeah, in some cases the bundle check just derps out and lets you buy stuff, even if it will add exactly zero new items to your appID list. The funny thing is, that if you managed to buy it successfully and then ask for a refund/support to remove it, it would probably break your account and cause support a few weeks of headaches.

Although normally the purchase operation should stop right at the last screen, when you would have to send the money.

Does it show in the list of games your library though ?
Because if yes, then it's one of those games with multiple Steam IDs and Valve are messing shit up again behind the scenes..

Nope. No green bar stating I own it. Arma 2 looks like I don't own it, but once I click it it shows the green bar stating it's already in my library (multiple IDs as you stated.)
