I recommend using Avid to make it. I could give it a try but i just don't have the time atm :-)

whisper: you can get a decent trailer music of perhaps even animation on newgrounds.com. Just contact any artist of the songs you feel appropriate with the trailer and make a deal with him (it's actually pretty easy) you might also have some luck with animation there too since a lot of people on that site want to have their works widely known.

honestly, the hard part is not editing the video, it's to have the idea and the music that you want.

I studied digital film making, I think I'm good at video editing :D , here's my channel, you can see a few examples (some are really old, I should be way better now :D ): this is an amv, should fit and I think it's good #1, and this is a trailer I recently did, maybe understanding italian would make it more enjoyable but yeah, a lot of work behind it #2

I think it would be fun to make a competition, just let us use own Footage of the Demo or more and give a few limitations and you're done and you'll probably get the best results ^^
