dark souls 2 is shit in souls standards, the issues hes talking about i do notice alot of the time and have been issues ive had from the start. yet i still play the game from time to time and have bought it on console and pc now

its not shit in video game standards, far from it, it was just shit when it came to souls standards. like demons souls was masterpiece same as 1 but 2 is just meh and not as re memorable

IMHO you're overly critical. DS2 had some truly great and memorable areas. Iron Keep, Dragon Aerie, Drangleic Castle, Heide Ruins, to name just a few.
It had a lot of problems, but it wasn't "shit" even by Souls standards.

Well that certainly doesn't help the OP's case and whatever issue they may have. If I don't care enough about the issues inherent to DS1 to actually avoid it, then I doubt there would be much of anything that would dissuade me from playing the sequels. I mean it is Dark Souls afterall.

DS Fix helps with Dark souls 1 issues. I did it and even though SOTF still ran better I was actually able to play Dark Souls 1
