Bump. Also, if anyone has an interesting discussion topic, feel free to post it so I can not so ninja edit the giveaways missing one when I get back and for future giveaways in the future too. Giveaways last one week! What else. I feel like I'm missing something.

Bump, and I'll recommend a book: The Old Man and the Sea. It is short, a couple of non-busy evenings, but really impressed me with clarity and simplicity, and a look into the power of a man's will, while showing respect for something much greater. I heard about it for a while, but decided to read a couple of months ago and came out truly impressed!

PS Thanks for the giveaways, and a nice idea how to get everyone involved, sans mindless bumps :)

Nothing generic about the Grand Canyon - it's an amazing place. Haven't been there either yet, but I'd love to go.
Thanks for all the lovely GAs and have a wonderful birthday.

This might be kind of weird as I haven't actually played it or own it yet, but the game I'll recommend is : Hidden Folks. It's kind of new on Steam. I somewhat enjoy hidden object games but what I don't like that much is how it tends to be just a pile of stuff many times even random stuff and you have to find something in it. I've been searching for a game that was more similar to the Where's Wally/Waldo? books where the themes seem more cohesive (if that makes sense). And this game looks to be similar to those so it's in my list of games to get soon.

*Edit: Forgot about the quote. I couldn't think of any so just googled some and found this I liked from Louis C.K.: "Whenever you leave behind failure, you’re doing good. If you think everything you’ve done is great, you’re probably dumb."

happy birthday and have a safe trip. I don't know what book to recommend. I was going to read something from Hemingway, even if he is kind of a prick, but I finally didn't do it.

Hmm something I'm afraid of... commitment I guess. That fact that our brain chemistry will have altered so much by the time say 5 years passes that you and the person (or job, or political leader etc.) that you are committed to makes the idea of makes the concept of commitment seem scary and almost childish to me.

Happy early birthday! :D I'm a computer science student majoring in software technology. :3 As of right now I still don't know what I want to do after graduation, I just want to enjoy my time in uni for now. I still have two years to figure out stuff anyway. Right now I think I want to be a freelance programmer, but I'm fairly certain I'll probably just apply to tech companies as a software engineer or something after I graduate.

I hope you have a great birthday.

Something I fear is the unknown depths in water I swim in.

A video game I would recommend is quite hard to decide on. I would have to say that the game I have played most over the years, on and off, and completed a couple of times is Heroes of Might and Magic III. It's not a particularly difficult game if you plan well but something about the balance of units and the clean animation just suit the game play well. You can almost call it a casual game too as it's very easy to pop in, play 20 minutes and then leave it again. Saying that though I have found it taking up more time than I plan because I find myself having to play 'just' two or three more turns to build new armies.

Like the rules of the giveaway dictated here is a positive quote: "Talking is always positive. That's why I talk too much. Louis C. K".
Also: Happy Birthday!!!

Bump! I recommend game: Deadly Premonition. It has an awful port, QTEs and sometimes horrible gameplay. HOWEVER the story is the best i ever had and the game actually was a lot of fun despite it's many flaws. weird recommendation, but I'm actually serous, terrible game and at the same time a total masterpiece. lol

Happy Birthday! 😀
