One of my doctor friends has been telling everyone that if you can afford it, don't leave the house for the next month.

If you can get a month of supplies or have a survivalist friend maybe ;)

Thanks buddy
Staying home is now a requirement here. You can only go out to shop for food or meds or to work only IF you can't work from home.
They had to actually enforce a lock down because of all the darwin awards contestants who were crowding parks and cafes last weekend as if nothing was going on. People eh?
Stay safe, everyone

Not on lockdown here, but we're close to a large number of cases, so my husband and I have been staying at home since Friday. I'm out of work, and his work is letting him start WFH tomorrow. We plan on going absolutely nowhere for quite a while.
Stay safe.

WFH has been made pretty much mandatory by the government here unless absolutely impossible. Unfortunately I can't and the hotel needs people to keep working the kitchens but since I have asthma, my employer can't make me work so for now I'm on disability leave. My girlfriend is a lawyer and some of her trials are still going on because they are considered "emergency situation" as the people she represents are either in jail at the moment and are seeking release, or are in precarious situations. It's all behind closed doors with the minimal staff present but it's still a lot of going around.
It's good your hubby can WFH. I have a friend in California who works management at a resort and they are not allowed to WFH because their manager think they won't "be productive enough" but listen to this: he's also forcing them to take two days off work a week "to limit the risks of exposure". Makes total sense, right?
Plus those days off work they're forced to take come off their vacation time which will be all gone if the whole thing lasts more than 4 weeks.
Enjoy the time with your husband and perfect opportunity to work on that backlog right?
