I've encountered an error with Left4Dead 2 that I can't send the game to EU region although it's there under the same ID and similar price. Probably just Valve stuff.

I just had a look at that GA: Left4Dead is a bit special - actually any violent game could end up that way when gifting to Germany. Germany often gets a censored version but this won't affect a game like this one.
I'm pretty sure you won't have any issues with this GA. :)

Yep, I know about the hard relationships of German legislation and violent videogames - that was my first thought, but then one of my winners was from UK and I got the same error. The current winer (so many rerolls) is from France... Let's see, how it goes...

That's weird. I wonder if Valve distributes the Low Violence Version of that game to a wider area by now. I'm just aware of a ban of the violent version in Australia and Germany.

Ha! That might be the reason actually: the account I'm giving it from is Australian, so I might be trying to give the low-violence version to people who have access to a full one. Means there is difference in versions between AU and DE.

If you also got the error when trying to gift it to UK, it's due to the new regional pricing gift rules (10 % below).
