Seems to be a good game, but I just can't play (most) survival horror games.
Therefore, have fun!

Had a friend with the same issue, he seemed unable to face a good survival-horror. But then i guided him through RE 7 (took some convincing), which is the most horror and the least action oriented one of the entire franchise i would say... It was not easy, but he did cross the finish line. And he was so ecstatic that he then proceeded to play all of the franchise iterations and became ultra fan of the genre, currently stressing out over RE Requiem's release in february.
Play one with someone, or watch a stream/playthrough about it. Finish one and you'll find out that the game gives you plenty of instruments to keep fear in check. Moreover, with some guiding and company, you'll probably find out that fear is fun when contained. Survival-horror genre (when done right) also offers one of the best gameplay loop you'll ever find.
Now, i'm sorry for "pushing", i just don't want people missing out on some great gems.
Thanks for the gift, mate.
Good luck, peeps!

Actually, I like horror movies and I even played a few horror games - Dead Space 1 and 2 with a friend and The last of us. Although I only managed to play the latter one in parts of around 20 minutes since it bothered me too much, sometimes even left me shivering...
For a few Resident Evil's I actually watched playthroughs and for the RE3 remake I played the demo and it left me quite stressed. All in all I think I tried my best and I am now almost sure that this is not my genre to play but rather to watch or maybe "couch co op" (i.e. play until you die then give over controls).

All right, mate, i can't say you didn't try. I'm sorry this genre stresses you so much. Couch co-op though is a great way to experience it, much easier to digest. In fact i'll say this much: i'm very sorry that they removed the split-screen option in games, it was a great feature that in my younger years delivered precious memories.
Well, as long as you're having fun, it's all good, mate!

I've never really been able to play survival horror. I love horror films, but theres something about being immersed in it as an actual player that I dont like. I played through plenty of the classics as a child with my best friend (RE1-3, Silent Hill 1+2, Parasite Eve etc), but I'd much rather just be watching Evil Dead!
I've only ever really finished the first Little Nightmares, Alan Wake and Until Dawn playing on my own - I liked them but they arent really proper survival horror games.
