oh, ok ... I didn't know that. It's my fourth giveaway in general, and the first since I have SGTools.

in order to have a protected giveaway you need to make it private and you can not make this giveaway private so you need to delete this one and make a new one and then input the new url into sg tools thing as i understand it

Ok, so now I think I understand how the thing works, a little bit better.
I need to make it private, then add the link to sgtools giveaways dashboard, and it will create a new link for me.
Unfortunatelly, it seems I cannot make changes now, until the giveaway is finished, so it would have to be for next time.
(The script did most of this for me, including the message, so I don't know if I touched something or something failed... well, next time then!)

Tbh, no idea how the whole thing works.
I've got SGTools a couple of weeks ago, and use it to sort giveaways and little more, so ... I'm trying to figure the whole thing out.
Give me a couple of minutes to see if I can find the info and modify the giveaway as well. (I don't know where, lol).

Well, if you created the sgtools link you would have a link similar to this one: https://www.sgtools.info/giveaways/e98d284c-f0f8-11ea-a71e-fa163e96784d
After entering the link I would have to check if I am elegible to participate, and if I am elegible, a link to the giveaway would be revealed to me. The revealed link needs to be invite only for this to work.
I'm not sure you will be able to change it from public to private link. You will probably have to delete the giveaway and create it again this time being an invite only link.
Once that is done if you want people to know of the existence of this giveaway you will have to write your link here:
