A little over half a year ago I made a public puzzle and said that I would do a bonus giveaway for a wishlisted game of a person that found a clue. Well after that I had an unexpected bill, so that giveaway was tabled until now here is the first of those wishlisted giveaways hopeful there will be more

I guess there must be some automatic notation opensource software, out there, that works perfectly. The only one I tried didn't work at all, I had notes overlapping each other, it was a mess. I had to ask my gf (who has a really good ear for music; the slowed down track helped a lot in that matter btw) to write down the notes for me.
Anyway, nice puzzle, thanks ;)

I'm glad someone solved it. My next clue would have either been that the key was c major. I keep wondering how many people's numbers are off by 2 because of it.

Thank you for the GA. I did make an attempt to solve the puzzle so I could have something other than the public puzzle as a means of joining, but couldn't really make much progress on it.

I posted the solution if you are interested

What's the "public puzzle" you're talking about? Solving the music puzzle, was it not the only way to this GA? Just curious.

The puzzle mentioned in the description.

Oh, I overlooked that. Thanks.

Came here from solution. It was what I was kinda expecting from the very start. But I just had absolutely no clue on how to get the notes. A hunch that good software would be complicated and expensive. Bad software would be unreliable. Doing it by hand would be tough too when Iām not even 100% certain the job would work out.
