You know, I was writing a pretty big and pompous wall of text to honor this day in history of space exploration and overall human history. But somewhere in the middle I realised, that I don't talk like that in real life. So I won't bore you with grand words and high-sounding expressions. I just realized that I worded it quite poor and vague. It wasn't exactly about yesterday, it was about 12 April 1961 - first manned spaceflight. So it's understandable to forget or not think about it

Also I'm from Sweden so unless it was the moon landing, knowing that a dog named Laika went to space or Christer Fuglesang (our one and only astronaut) it's generally not regarded as common knowledge here.

I think anyone who really like space exploration, etc, would read your text, even if you don't talk like that in real life. But i know what you felt, sometime i write big comments be it here or youtube and then delete it all like "meh, it won't change anything so why bother"

I didn't play video games for some time and i didn't have a good computer back then anyway.
But when i decided to come back to gaming, I heard about Mass Effect and expected it to be the VERY-BESTEST-VIDEO-GAME-OF-ALL-TIME (!!!). I was completely over-hyped.
Unfortunately it turned out to be not what I expected, but i can't blame the game for that. I had really the weirdest ideas about this one.
Nevertheless I still want to play this again and one day finish the whole trilogy, as I'm sure it is good. But when I played it the first time I just couldn`t enjoy it. D:

Well, I hope you'll enjoy it whenever that day will come! Besides, it has not so great beginning and only become to shine after a few hours, so maybe you just haven't played long enough?

Nah i played quiet a bit 3/5 of the game or something. I'm pretty sure that I was just hyped about the game. It never had a fair chance to satisfy my expactations and that's why I'd like to try it again someday :>

Thanks! I've got a couple hours on record, though I have to say at least two of those were spent getting the resolution to fit my screen as I run it on a Linux computer through Wine :p so I definitely intend to play!

Yes, it would be nice if we could have part 3 on Steam as well (will probably never happen).
At least EA does have the decency to only sell those games on Steam which do not require
you to install Origin. Ubisoft on the other hand, likes to sell stuff on Steam and only tells you later
on, that you will actually require another DRM.
