Description

My wife moved out today. Tell me your stories of splitting. it's winter here right now, do you still have to split the wood? Did your cream split when you were attempting an hollandaise sauce for your poached eggs? When you split the bill do you split it evenly or pay for what you ordered? Please feel free to share your own splits below...

My wife moved out today.

Like temporarily or permanently? Either way, hope you are doing well.

I'm good, thanks for asking. Pretty sure it's the right thing to do. Not convinced but only because you never know what is the best thing to do. It was kinda like making a choice in Tyranny.

If that is true then I'm really sorry and I hope that she will be back. No great stories here, the only thing that I can think of is that my fabric conditioner splits and I have to shake it before adding it to wash-machine.

I'm sorry to hear that. I had to split with my old life ever since I've been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The hardest thing definitely was not being able to finish college because of the disease. Try to stay strong, man - hope your new life will be better than the old one :-)

That's rough Jeff. I hope you have found ways to cope with your MS and you are still enjoying life. Thanks for a bit of perspective too.

Accepting the things you can not change is very VERY hard, if it's little or big ones. I wish you the best. Jeff.

Sometimes things dont work, in my view when this happen it's always good to take some steps back and try to think on the why, why everything got to this at the end? And if i am really sad or glad about what happened, you can be very surprised with this rethink results. If you can check your feelings seeing the entire picture you can fell better, give it another try or at least know why things got there, there's no loss for it, good luck!

Thanks for the advice Oriens. We have been working hard on the relationship for a long time and neither of us want to spend the rest of our relationship trying to improve our relationship rather than enjoying it.

Thanks Stargater. I played Splinter Cell a long time ago on whatever Playstation console was around when it was first released. I also have a bunch of games sitting in my Ubisoft account untouched. One backlog at a time.

Thanks for the well wishes Chris. We get a good change in the seasons where I am. Cold winters with a light snowfall some years and hot summers that melt your face off and keep you looking to the horizon for signs of bushfires.

Hollandaise, actually easy but never doin it right. Expect that one time.

I thought long about split stuff in my life.
Actually ~15 years ago I split my tendon(?) while splitting wood. Dumb young me was hitting wet wood at a bad angle -> slippery -> axe into leg. So since then I try to avoid splitting it and let others do it :D

I can never get it right either. Too hot, not hot enough, wrong ratios, too much sweat dripping into the bowl.

That sounds like a triple split to me. Wood, tendon, I'm outta here...Split!!!
