Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 just got released (and looks like it's not doing so well), so I guess it's good moment to give away this leftover key.
Random question for today: What's your go-to weapon in video games (one that most often fits your playstyle)?
For example, I usually go with a shotgun. I like to feel the impact of my shots and I'm not good at aiming.

I usually go for snipers and stealth weapons. Killing people with a bow is really satisfying for me. Also I like to pretend I'm like ghost/ninja.

I was thinking about sniper rifles. I really enjoy them in singleplayer games, but when it comes to multiplayer games I have trouble hitting anybody.
But I do love playing stealthy. I pretty much always choose this approach when it's a possibility. The satisfaction after a carefully planned sneaky backstab...

My favourite weapon by far has got to be the Lightning Gun from Quake. I generally gravitate toward similar weapons in other games, if they have them.

Indeed it is fitting, though I've been using this name since before I knew what a lightning gun is either
Quake is a fast paced, arena style first person shooter, the lightning gun is a limited range weapon that shoots perfectly straight and very fast (20 bolts per second). Each bolt does very little damage, so its all about being able to track your opponent accurately with your mouse as a lot of hits will do a lot of damage.

Usually sniper rifles. One shot, one kill is pretty satisfying. Plus I like staying as far away as possible from danger.

Assault or tactical rifles depending on the situation, usually assault. I love their style and I'm more of a medium range kind of guy, altho I do enjoy a good sniping on SP games.

Fast fire & reload guns. Like MP's and Assault Rifles. I move aloooot and need a gun, that can keep up. Don't have time for that "weird aiming stuff"... :P
