Did you know that the original name for Pac-Man was Puck-Man? You'd think it was because he looks like a hockey puck but it actually comes from the Japanese phrase 'Paku-Paku,' which means to flap one's mouth open and closed. They changed it because they thought Puck-Man would be too easy to vandalize, you know, like people could just scratch off the P and turn it into an F or whatever.

A Hindu temple dedicated to the rat goddess Karni Mata in Deshnoke, India, houses more than 20,000 rats. Many people travel far to pay respect to the rats, which are believed to be reincarnations of Karni Mata and her clansmen.
According to a study by Martin Schein, founder of the Animal Behavior Society, the favorite foods of city-dwelling brown rats include scrambled eggs, macaroni and cheese, and cooked corn.
Thanks

If someone is born before 9 months. For example miscarriage like 6 months. And you were born after 9 months. So that person is older then you even he existed for less time.
Baby A. Born after 9 months. After 12 months will have the first birthday. Total alive 21 months, but 1 year old.
Baby B. Born after 6 months. After 12 months will have first birthday. Total alive 18 months, but 1 year old.
So if both started same time. Baby B have existed for less time, but he will be older. Baby A will be 9 months old, when baby B will be celebrating his first birthday.

I don't think the +1 year thing is widely used anymore? The zodiac = age thing seems to work if you're quick with math and know your zodiac well enough, but even then I don't think I've ever seen the additional year applied.

!!! Interesting! Ever thought about how we could assign age more accurately? Is it worth it? Thanks for sharing!

I was supposed to think about FMA the whole time I read this... right?
Comment has been collapsed.
Hmm, I don't know? Sure, FMA is first thing that comes to mind, but really, alchemy has very rich real world history with some amazing larger than life figures and stome stories that would be laughed out of the book for being unrealistic. Fun fact, one alchemist did turn out earth into gold, the guy who discovered how Chinese made fine china, a luxury article that was in higher regard than cups made from silver:

I would like to share with you this because I find this really interesting (which i researched) after watching the movie "The 33" (some miners get trapped in a mine in Chile based on a true story).
Did you know that humans can live up to 3 weeks (21 days ) without food but can only live up to 3-5 days without water?
That is because the human body consists around 70% of water and during the day you dehydrate. The rate of course can be different depending on what you are doing (exercising or not) and the environment you are in. For food of course you can live from the fat of your body which is easier but of course that is again very different from person to person. And my latest fact is kind of disgusting and sorry for that but it is interesting. Many people that have been trapped in collapsed houses after an earthquake, they managed to survived because they drank their urine and stayed as hydrate as possible. So keep that in mind, it might save your life one day!
