Intriguing and interesting horror game

Demented is a interesting and cheap horror game that places a lot of focus on a sanity system. It's similar to games such as Amnesia the Dark Descent. The game is very good and fun with decent controls and not too many gameplay issues.

Features:

The game features a sanity system which can - if your sanity gets too low - cause effects such as hallucination and decreased field of vision. The game also features simple controls which work well without too many complications.

One issue I discovered with the game was that it's very dark even for a horror game. So it can sometimes be very hard to see. Another issue is that when you sprint, the camera shake is ridiculous. This makes it very hard to see where you're going at times and can even give you motion sickness. Also the game doesn't tell you that you have a flashlight, so you will be left in the dark at the start.

• Music adds more tension to gameplay
• Sanity effects adds an interesting feature to the game

• The game is quite dark
• No one tells you how to use your flashlight
• Sanity degrades quickly, which might make it too hard for players looking for a casual experience
