Thanks! How is the controller. I haven't opted to go that direction as my 360 controllers have been more than adequate, and have had the most support over the years. That being said it looks pretty enticing.
Side note... EB Games... I didn't even know they were still around. I haven't seen one here in maybe fifteen years (if not more).

I wouldn't mind getting the scoop on the controller's performance, as well. :)

Hahah same! The last time I had any contact with EB Games before this preorder, I was buying Sims 3 in high school. I was using a PS4 controller before and it was getting a little annoying having to adjust setting so often so in that regard the Steam controller has been a huge step up. It takes some getting used to for FPS but once I got the hang of it everything felt pretty natural, and the transition was seamless for stuff like Rocket League. I haven't been using it much for any more control complex games (Stardew Valley is my main squeeze lately) but the way I see it, anything with as much nuance as Civ is better played with a keyboard and mouse anyway? All in all I love it. Big Picture mode looks and feels great and I have no regrets about supporting Valve in breaking barriers with controllers.

I should note the whole reason I went for the PS4 controller instead of the 360 was because I wanted to utilize the touch pad. I figured every now and then I would need to click something since I'm using a computer after all. Whether it was worth the trouble of getting the 'wrong' onscreen controls or having to adjust settings so often, I'm still not really sure. But the experience at least opened my eyes to the flexibility of having a touch pad on a controller and now it's something I don't think I'd go without.

=O
Did you try seeing if they could revoke+replace them? :/

I bought it from gamestop and they physically gave me the codes. Should I try emailing them?

Oh, I'd go directly into the gamestop and ask to speak to the manager. If he can't help, ask for the number to corporate.
On the one hand, physical codes don't have a direct digital record/revocation connection; on the other side, proper bookkeeping states that they should have written the codes down to your account once you purchased the games.
ie, rather than revoke+replace, if they're doing their jobs properly, they should be able to directly give you your codes again.
Of course, depends on if you received your codes sealed or visible. If they were sealed, no chance of that, and likely no digital record, unless they had barcodes and the keys were databased with barcodes associated.
So kinda a crapshoot, but definitely worth a shot. :)
