Over the past two or three days, several accounts have surfaced, registered several years ago, which did not have any victories or participation in the giveaways, and who suddenly decided to give away AAA games in honor of the site's 10th anniversary. I have a bad feeling about it all

actually, a few days ago I've stumbled upon an account - registered 6yrs ago, no wins, no previous gifts, no GAs entered and now they're making 3 "medium profile" i.e. not AAA but not the cheapest bundled garbage either giveaways with no description that's one more metric that I like to keep in mind none of them for the celebration so I just kept an eye on them and what do you know - now they're all finished and marked recieved!

Yea it's true it can happen but it's very rare and I don't think this is the case. It's just one guy with multiple accounts, because all of them have been seen last online one week ago. It's sad that such a wholesome event will end with a bunch of disappointed people.

Hi! So I came here to see if there's any resolution and to let you know that I had the above situation happen again! This time an individual who registered back in 2012 and seemingly forget about SG for 9 years comes back and makes 3 users happy with new games! So maybe it's not all that rare after all and we should bury the hope for humanity just yet ;)

I mean yea new users join and make their first giveaways everyday but it's rare when their first giveaway ever is a triple A unbundled expensive game that they don't even own on their steam account. I think I only seen it happen once, years ago. Of course in this case I'm happy whenever I'm proven wrong when it actually happens because I don't take joy in other people's sadness. Thanks btw, your avatar is cute too. ;)

Perhaps. Though I'm going to enter for these anyway. On the super slim chance one of us knowingly enters it and wins, it might save someone else the disappointment. I mean it's not like I really enter many giveaways anyway, gotta find a use for them! :D
